Comments: I went for a consult with Dr Buchanan regarding a 3D bunion surgery I recently had with another surgeon in MD. I went to Dr Buchanan because I have had nothing but trouble ever since I did this surgery back in February 24. It appears he is going to have to "fix" the problems that the other surgeon did with this somewhat "botched surgery".

Dr Buchanan was very understanding and discussed next steps which is a CT Scan to see what needs to be done to repair the foot. Love his bedside manner, very compassionate and knowledgeable. I'm distressed I'm going to have to go back into surgery to fix the problems the other surgeon created with this 3D technology. Do not believe the hype of this style of bunion repair. It was suppose to be an easier recovery with better results and little pain. The exact opposite is what I have experienced with limited mobility of my joint, quite a bit of pain and discomfort. My big toe is not straight and I'm developing a bone spur on the top of the joint. Dr Buchanan is going to repair the toe and hopefully get the mobility back again in my big toe joint. My PT was the one who referred my to Dr Buchanan. I only wish I'd gone to him for this surgery instead of the one I had gone to........
